You will develop strong technical foundations in lash application, including isolation and precise placement. By the end of this course, you will be able to complete beautiful, long-lasting sets with consistency. You’ll be trained to confidently apply a range of styles — from classic and wet sets to YY lashes and premade fans — giving you the ability to deliver both natural and full, dramatic results based on client preference.

You will learn how to achieve up to 4-week retention by studying how temperature and humidity directly impact adhesive performance. When you properly monitor and adjust your lash environment for ideal curing speed and bond strength,your lash sets last longer and clients keep coming back.

I’m Sydney, the face behind Syd’s Lashes!✨
I started my business when I was 18 years old and had just moved to Winnipeg for my boyfriend (now finance’s) school. I was working a 9-5 while lashing in the evenings and weekends. I originally started lashing hoping to make an extra $200 a month… I had no idea that this would grow into my full time passion.
I love lashing because it allows me to meet new people and be creative with sets that bring your vision to life✨ I love learning about all things lashes and am always taking more courses to better my knowledge and give my clients long lasting sets that compliment their features perfectly😚
When I’m not lashing I’m probably enjoying an iced coffee, planning my next trip or spending time with my friends & family! I enjoy spending time outside when it isn’t absolutely freezing or cuddling up on the couch with my fiancé and our three cats!
I love connecting with people and learning about my clients lives! All of my clients feel like my friends that I look forward to seeing every 3-6 weeks! Whether you need a yap session, a mid-day nap or a therapy session I am here for it all!

I completely get that -starting out can be intimidating, especially when you are worried that you aren't quite ready. That's actually why this training is designed the way it is. Whether you are starting from scratch or have some practice under your belt, the days are customized to meet you where you're at. You will have hands-on guidance during live model sets, step by step instruction and a manual to take home for a refresher so you are never left wondering what to do next.

Self teaching can absolutely get you started, but it often leaves gaps that you don't realize are there. When you do Beginners Lashing 101 with me I watch your technique in real time and help correct things that videos can't catch like hand placement, proper lash attachment and other habits that might be slowing your progress. Most self taught artists work harder than they need to. This training helps you work smarter by giving structure and guidance to what you've already been experimenting with.

You won’t leave wondering how to practice or what to do next. Every student receives a beginner kit that includes a mannequin head and all the essential supplies needed to continue practicing at home and begin taking clients when you’re ready. During the training, we also walk through how to structure your practice, what to focus on first, and how to build confidence step by step, so you’re not left guessing after the course ends.

You’ll start seeing progress immediately, but the type of results matter. During the 3 training days, you’ll already notice improvement in your isolation, placement, and understanding of retention because you’re practicing in real time with correction. Within the first 1–2 weeks after training, as you practice on your mannequin head and models, you should see cleaner sets and more consistency. True confidence builds over practice, but you won’t be starting from zero, you’ll leave knowing exactly what to focus on from day one.
